Database corruption is one of the nightmares in the life of a DBA. We store precious data in databases and each day the dataset grows bigger and bigger. A database corruption issue not only puts the data at risk, it also threatens to take a toll on businesses and revenues. Corruption does happen due to faulty hardware, bugs etc. and without proper backup in place, there is a risk of data loss. This lab explains how to recover the corrupted database such as non-clustered index page corruption, clustered index page corruption correction and transaction log file corruption.
