Hi Friends,
Last week we posted SQL Server Performance Counter Ready Reference, of which we had more than 1000 downloads instantly! We hope it was helpful for the SQL Community! You can download it from our Resource Center.
Here is another wonderful piece of document that can help you find the availability of any DMV/DMF in any version of SQL Server starting from SQL 2005.
Many a times, when we are working with various versions of SQL Server, especially in the role of DBA, and we have a need to work with Dynamic Management Views or Dynamic Management Functions, we struggle to figure out whether a particular DMV/DMF exists in a specific version. We have to check the availability of the object by running our DMV/DMF scripts on that specific Windows box – a tedious/time consuming process.
This document lists down all the SQL Server DMVs/DMFs and their availability in SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 and 2014. Here is a screenshot:
A nice document that can sit on your desktop 🙂

I’m wondering why printing is restricted. As it’s difficult to read the document until you get up to 200% zoom this seems a rather petty restriction.
Hi Gordon, I will tell my team to check this and get it fixed. Thanks for the feedback!
