A dimension is considered to be a Slowly Changing Dimensions in SSIS when the attributes change over a period of time. The SCD are categorized based on the methodology of historical records maintenance. Slowly Changing Dimensions in SSIS transformation helps in achieving the maintenance of the history of the records based on the type of SCD.
