My first SQL Server Webcast with SQLMaestros.com

Hi Friends,

This was overwhelming! I delivered my first webcast with SQLMaestros.com today on “Simplifying SQL Server Performance Tuning” and I had a turnout of 70+ attendees – very decent number just before Diwali!

Just to give a quick preview; the crux of the demo was show statement level waits tracking using Extended Events (Activity GUID & Activity Sequence). I started off by demoing instance level waits, followed by session level waits, followed by a deep dive into statement level waits using XEvents.
