Session OverviewAmit Bansal delivered this top rated breakout session at TechEd North America 2012. The same session was delivered at TechEd Europe 2013 with refreshed content. The two and half hour session will be delivered LIVE on Saturday, 21 March at MCCIA Trade Tower in ICC Complex, Pune from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. This session is a free community event. Register now to block your seat!

Session AbstractYes, indexes still remain the main bottleneck when it comes to performance; especially when your data grows big. In this demo-heavy session, Amit will take you through real-world scenarios of bad indexing designs and how they can be rectified to improve performance. Focus will remain on clustered and non-clustered indexes and the esoteric combinations of them. If you think you know everything about indexes, think again !
Target AudienceSQL Server Database Administrators, SQL Server Developers, SQL Server Architects
PrerequisitesYou need to have at least 1 year of working experience with SQL Server and should know the basics of Indexes. This session is not meant for freshers.
