Hello Friends,

Here is another popular lab from Hands-On-Lab library: SQL Server Resource Governor.

Resource Governor helps in assigning CPU usage, physical IO and memory usage a maximum and minimum limit. Resource governor is very helpful when workloads are competing with each other for resources and affecting the performance of the whole server. This lab is divided into three exercises explaining how to configure, monitor resource governor and performance tuning using resource governor.

Exercise 1: Configuring Resource Governor
Exercise 2: Monitoring Resource Governor
Exercise 3: Performance tuning using Resource Governor

SQLMaestros Hands-On-Labs enables the practical way of learning. Each lab document consists of multiple exercises and each exercise consists of multiple tasks.
